Business Owner's Package (BOP) Insurance

BOPs typically include:

1. Property Insurance for buildings and business contents. Policies are available in two forms: standard or special, with special offering broader protection.
2. Business Interruption Insurance, which covers lost income if a fire or other covered event disrupts operations. This may also include the extra costs of operating from a temporary location.
3. Liability Protection, covering your business’s legal responsibility for harm caused to others. This includes bodily injury or property damage resulting from your products, services, or business operations.

In most cases, BOPs do NOT cover professional liability, auto insurance, workers’ compensation, or health and disability insurance. Separate policies are required for those areas.
